John Sandusky, PhD

Dr. John Sandusky is an optical and systems engineer with decades of experience developing advanced sensing and space technologies. He most recently, spent 24 years at Sandia National Laboratories working on a wide range of programs in support of the national interest.

‍

Sandusky served as the optical engineer for Sandia’s laser radar system that inspected the Space Shuttle on orbit and led the payload operations team through multiple missions. His work has focused on optical sensing, laser radar, and advanced space systems for national security and scientific applications.

‍

Sandusky holds a Ph.D. in Optical Science from the University of New Mexico.
