Greg Brady, PhD
Dr. Gregory Brady is one of the earliest technical leaders at Mantis Space and an expert in advanced optical system design. He previously served as Principal Optical Engineer at the Space Telescope Science Institute, where he contributed to the commissioning and optical performance of the James Webb Space Telescope.
Brady has also played a key role in the development of high-volume optical technologies for consumer electronics, including the diffractive optical element at the core of Apple’s Face ID system, now deployed in more than a billion devices worldwide. His work spans space instrumentation, precision optical engineering, and advanced photonics.
Brady holds a Ph.D. in Optics from the Institute of Optics at the University of Rochester.
