Eric Truitt, Founder and CEO of Mantis Space, is a proven builder of high-growth, mission-critical space enterprises. He brings more than 25 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community as a leader in advanced space systems and national security technologies.

Truitt previously co-founded PredaSAR, which later became part of Terran Orbital and went public on the New York Stock Exchange before being acquired by Lockheed Martin. He also served as Chief Strategy Officer at MapLarge, where he led strategy for the company’s AI/ML software platform growth, and as Chief of Space and Intelligence Programs at the Georgia Tech Research Institute, directing advanced technology initiatives for national security sponsors.

As Vice President of Space Solutions and Growth at BlueHalo, Truitt helped guide the company’s space portfolio and was part of the leadership team during its successful acquisition by AeroVironment [NASDAQ: AVAV].

Truitt holds an MBA from the Georgia Tech and previously served in the United States Navy working in satellite communications and advanced radio technologies.
