Dr. Brent Bergner is an expert in precision metrology, optical instrumentation, and advanced manufacturing techniques, with more than twenty years of experience developing measurement systems for cutting-edge optical technologies. He previously served as Senior Principal Metrology Engineer at Peak NanoOptics, where he led the development of advanced metrology solutions for nano-structured optical components.

Bergner also held the role of Senior Systems Engineering Manager at Onto Innovation, working on complex inspection and measurement systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Earlier in his career, he served as a Guest Researcher at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), contributing to precision measurement and optical instrumentation research.

Bergner holds both a Ph.D. and M.S. in Optical Science and Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
